Refund Policy
Last updated: February 2026
1. Introduction
This Refund Policy applies to all CalenMe subscriptions, a platform operated by Leinas Labs LLC (hereinafter "CalenMe"). All payments are processed securely through Stripe. CalenMe never stores credit card data; all payment processing is handled solely by Stripe, which complies with PCI-DSS standards.
2. Free Plan
CalenMe offers a permanent free plan with no credit card required. No charges are made for using the free plan and therefore no refund policy applies to this tier.
3. 21-Day Free Trial
New subscribers to paid plans get access to a 21-day free trial. No charge is made during this period. Users may cancel their subscription at any time before the trial ends at no cost. If the User does not cancel before the trial expires, Stripe will automatically process the charge for the selected plan at the start of the first billing period.
4. General Policy: Non-Refundable Payments
Once a charge has been processed by Stripe at the start of each billing period, payments are non-refundable, with the exceptions noted in section 6. This applies in the following cases:
- Monthly or annual charges already processed at the start of the billing period.
- Unused partial periods following subscription cancellation.
- Plan changes made during an active billing period (the new price applies from the next cycle).
5. Subscription Cancellation
Users may cancel their subscription at any time from the Stripe billing portal, accessible from the Billing section in CalenMe. Upon cancellation:
- Access to paid plan features is maintained until the last day of the already-paid billing period.
- No additional charges will be made once cancellation is confirmed.
- Cancellation does not entitle the User to a refund for the remaining portion of the current billing cycle.
Cancellation without refund: If the User cancels during a billing period, the remaining balance is non-refundable. Access is maintained until the end of the period. Exception: see Section 6 (early cancellation within 14 days without use).
6. Exceptions and Special Cases
CalenMe will evaluate refund requests on an exceptional basis in the following situations:
- Verified duplicate charge: if Stripe processed two charges for the same billing period due to a technical error, CalenMe will manage a refund for the duplicate charge.
- Extended service outage: if CalenMe experiences an unplanned service interruption exceeding 72 consecutive hours directly attributable to CalenMe, a proportional credit for the affected time will be evaluated.
- Early cancellation within 14 days: if the User cancels their subscription within the first 14 days from the start of the billing period and the service has not been used, CalenMe will process a full refund.
- To request an exception, the User must contact [email protected] within 7 calendar days of the charge in question, stating the reason and attaching proof of payment.
7. Failed Payments
If Stripe is unable to process the renewal charge (expired card, insufficient funds, or other reason), CalenMe will notify the User by email. Stripe will automatically retry the charge according to its smart retry policy. If payment is not resolved, the subscription will move to a "past due" status and paid plan features will eventually be suspended, without entitling the User to a refund for previously charged periods.
8. Secure Payment Processing via Stripe
All charges are processed exclusively by Stripe, Inc., a company that complies with PCI-DSS Level 1 standards. CalenMe does not store or have access to the User's credit card data. Billing data (name, billing address) is managed directly by Stripe in accordance with its own Privacy Policy (stripe.com/privacy). To dispute a charge, the User may contact Stripe directly or their bank, and should also notify CalenMe at [email protected].
